What we collect, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do about it.

Last updated 6 October 2026

This page explains what personal information The Launchworks collects through this website and when you talk to us, what we do with it, and what your rights are. We've kept it short and in plain English.

Who we are

The Launchworks is the trading name of Infinex Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 14557157. Our registered office is 124 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX.

We decide how your information is used, which makes us the "controller" under UK data protection law. For anything about your data, email hello@thelaunchworks.com.

What we collect

  • When you book a call: your name, email address, the time you pick and anything you choose to tell us in the booking form. Bookings run through our booking page, which uses Cal.com.
  • When you email us: your name, email address and whatever is in your message.
  • On calls and afterwards: your work contact details and the notes we take about your business and your Amazon account.
  • When you visit the site: the technical details every browser sends to every website, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you asked for. Our web host keeps these in server logs for security.

We don't ask for sensitive information, such as health details, and we'd ask you not to send it.

What we don't do

  • We don't run analytics or advertising tracking on this site at the moment. If we add analytics, we'll ask for your agreement first where the law requires it, and update this page.
  • We don't sell your information, or share it with anyone for their own marketing.
  • We don't add you to a mailing list because you visited the site or booked a call.

Why we use it

The law asks us to say which legal reason we rely on for each use.

  • To arrange and hold your call, and answer your questions. Because you asked us to, before any contract, and because we have a legitimate interest in replying to people who contact us.
  • To send you a proposal and, if you become a client, do the work and invoice you. Because it's needed for our contract with you.
  • To keep the website secure and working. Our legitimate interest.
  • To keep the financial records the law requires. A legal obligation.
  • To contact business owners we think we could help, using publicly available work details such as a LinkedIn profile. Our legitimate interest. Every message gives you a simple way to tell us to stop, and we will.

Who else handles your information

We use a small number of trusted services that handle information on our behalf, under contract, and only to provide their service to us:

  • Cal.com, for booking calls
  • our email, calendar and video call providers
  • the tools we use to keep track of conversations and projects, and to send invoices
  • our website host
  • our accountants

Two things on this site load from Google's servers: the map in the footer (Google Maps) and the site's fonts (Google Fonts). When a page loads, Google receives your IP address, and the map may set Google's own cookies.

We'll also share information if the law requires us to.

Information sent outside the UK

Some of these services, including Cal.com and Google, are based in the US. Where your information leaves the UK, we rely on the safeguards UK law requires, such as the UK to US data bridge or approved contract clauses.

Cookies

This site doesn't set its own tracking or advertising cookies. The booking calendar (Cal.com) and the map (Google Maps) are provided by other companies and may set their own cookies when they load. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

How long we keep it

  • Enquiries and bookings that don't lead to work together: up to two years from our last contact, then deleted.
  • Client records: six years after our work together ends, because UK tax law requires us to keep financial records for that long.
  • Server logs: for the short period our web host keeps them.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • give you a copy of the information we hold about you
  • correct anything that's wrong
  • delete your information
  • limit how we use it, or stop using it altogether
  • send it to you, or to another organisation, in a format that's easy to reuse

You can also object at any time to us using your information for our legitimate interests, including being contacted about our services.

Email hello@thelaunchworks.com. It's free, and we'll reply within one month.

Complaints

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, tell us first at hello@thelaunchworks.com. We'll acknowledge your complaint within 30 days and let you know what we find.

If you're still not happy, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Children

Our service is for businesses. This site isn't aimed at anyone under 18 and we don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we use your information, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
